| Description: |
Amtraks Eclipse Express makes its way south through Irvington, IL. The entirely sold out train left Chicago at 3 am and only made stops in Campaign and Carbondale. Amtrak assigned 399 as the temporary train number for the southbound express and 398 as the northbound train out of Carbondale. Once the tickets went on sale, it only took 22 hours for the train to be sold out. The tickets, which included a pair of eclipse glasses and round trip from Chicago or Campaign were $157 for Chicago and $99 for Campaign. |
